Energy Management
eLe’s Resource Efficiency Management (REM) Program provides services to increase the effectiveness of Government installations’ energy programs by reducing energy and water costs through the implementation of cost-effective programs and practices derived from a review of available data and processes. The program is designed to be self-sustaining in that the costs of the program are more than offset by savings generated.

eLe is the Resource Efficiency Management (REM) contractor for the US Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast
Erica Lane Enterprises Inc is providing energy management and conservation support to 15 Naval bases and Air Stations throughout the Southeastern United States. Our REM program provides support for energy management, utility privatization and other related tasks, such as energy accounting, operations and maintenance support, short and long range planning and implementation, implementing identified energy projects and documenting energy savings. We develop Installation Energy Savings Plans, Energy Security Plans, Energy Awareness Programs, Energy Accounting and Rate Analysis, and Project Development/Implementation Plans.

Resource Efficiency Management (REM) Contracts for the US Army at Fort Campbell, KY and Fort Rucker, AL and the DoD’s Military Ocean Terminal at Sunny Point (MOTSU), NC.
With over 15 million sq. ft. of offices, warehouses, and other facilities at these government installations, we are tasked with auditing 10% of that square footage per year through our REM contracts. We assess installations and make recommendations to the government as to types of energy savings programs and innovations that can be utilized to save energy costs. These recommendations can save thousands and even hundreds of thousands of dollars in energy consumption per year!

Our REM program at Ft. Campbell was rewarded for these very significant accomplishments when we were recognized by the Department of the Army as the winner of the 30th Annual Energy and Water Management Award for Energy Efficiency/Energy Management August 6, 2008 at the Energy 2008 Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
